NORMAN L. NORRIS, ESQUIRE

Mr. Norris graduated Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1964 and graduated George Washington University with a Jurist Doctorate in 1968. Mr. Norris became a partner with Woodcock Washburn Kurtz Mackiewicz and Norris. an intellectual property law firm, in 1974 and served on its Executive Committee until he retired from the firm in 2000. Mr. Norris is currently of counsel to the firm. In addition to his activities as a lawyer, Mr. Norris has maintained various business interests over the years. He has been involved in real estate development for his own account as well as third parties since the late 1970’s. He is currently building and selling luxury homes in Naples, FL. Mr. Norris has also served as a principal in Cypress Capital Partners, LLC which has performed various investment banking functions for the principals of Cypress Capital as well as associated entities.

Mr. Norris was a co-founder of Trident, Inc. in 1989, served as a director of the entity before and after it went public as a NASDAQ company in 1996 and led the sale of the company to ITW in 1999. He was also a principal in and a director of Foxjet, Inc. and also led the sale of that company to ITW in 1999. Mr. Norris presently serves as chairman of the board of ChemDomain Inc., an intellectual property holding and licensing company, which he and members of his family founded in 2000.
