BOB
BAYDALE, Vice President Development
ob Baydale joined the Baker Leisure Group team in December,
1998 and has brought with him 25 years experience in creating,
implementing and directing marketing strategies and programs.
After joining the Baker Leisure Group, Bob has developed innovative
programs for such clients as The Mexican Tourism Board, Moroccan
National Tourism Office and the Marriott Vacation Club, among
others.
In addition, Bob was the project manager for the Great Platte
River Road Archway Monument, which was voted the "outstanding
attraction of the year" by the Themed Entertainment Association
in 2001. Before joining Baker Leisure Group, Bob was Director
of Marketing - Strategic Partnerships at Planet Hollywood
International from 1996 to 1998. He negotiated, developed,
marketed and managed cooperative promotional partnerships
for Planet Hollywood, Official All Star Café, Planet
Movies and Cool Planet Brands. Bob co-branded the Planet Hollywood
Visa credit card program for the United States, United Kingdom
and Ireland, resulting in $6M in royalties and 175,000 new
cardholders.
During his tenure, he also developed, implemented and supervised
sponsorship agreements with Heineken, Visa International,
M&M/Mars, AT&T, Best Western International and Delta
Airlines. Bob’s background also includes founding and
developing the diverse Travel Related Services company specializing
in international group movements, hotel, resort and home rentals
and attraction representation. Prior to that, Bob was with
Rank Leisure USA and was responsible for all marketing activities
for Orlando Entertains and Hard Rock Café while supervising
35 employees.
Bob is a graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland,
Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
